Vision
Guelph Renewable Energy Co-operative (GRECo) envisions a community powered by renewable energy, with significantly reduced carbon emissions, and residents who are empowered to make decisions about where their energy comes from and how it is managed.
Organize and develop partnerships with Guelph building owners, in order to:

Finance and install rooftop PV panels for the generation and sale of electricity to the Ontario power grid

Enable citizens and local organizations to participate in renewable energy production

Generate a return on investment for co-op members

Create surpluses to finance the expansion of community-owned renewable energy in Ontario

Make a significant contribution to advancing the goals of the City of Guelph’s Community Energy Initiative
